This client initially came to Hunt Electric with the need for a simple 7.1 surround sound living room integrated solution. From there the project scope evolved to include 11 zones of audio integration in the home, HVAC integration, CCTV integration, shade integration, audio streaming services, a 24 terabit Synology server for high volume storage, and DoorBird door intercoms with custom coding to connect them to 4 touch panels located throughout the house. In 2017, the client moved forward with plans to build out a home movie theater and entertainment space to host more parties for family and friends. They enlisted Hunt Electric to design and install a 4K high definition projector with 115" Black Diamond projector screen, a 15" touch panel, Dolby Atmos sound design, shade integration, CCTV integration, Amazon Alexa integration, Philips Hue accent lighting, and a lighting control system. Tile floor and decorative metal accents created some sound absorption challenges for the team, so special calibration was done to the theater to ensure optimal audio quality. The user interface for their system was designed to be simple and intuitive so the whole family can easily navigate it. This especially comes in handy during family movie nights.
