EV Power Exchange Corporation enlisted Hunt Electric’s Sustainable Energy Division to install EV charging stations at five separate locations. This initiative involved installing four 50kW DC Level 3 fast chargers at UFPTC Shopping Center, Canyon Rim Shopping Center, Midvale Fresh, Boise Plaza, and North Riverdale to benefit guests and employees.
Because each site required the necessary infrastructure to support the new chargers, our team poured fresh concrete pads and installed new transformers to ensure adequate power supply. Additional effort was required for Boise Plaza and North Riverdale; our Traffic & Infrastructure team bored across the parking lots to connect with existing transformers, supplying the extra energy to the new units.
In Park City, the Summit County Richins Building contracted Hunt Electric to install three L3 Dual Chargers for its employees and guests. We tapped into the existing power infrastructure and added a transformer to support the new charging stations.
Similarly, the Ogden City Municipal Building sought to enhance its EV charging capabilities. Hunt Electric connected power from the existing transformer and established a new service for three L2 Dual Chargers. To ensure future scalability, our Sustainable Energy Division also “futureproofed” the service, making it easy for Ogden City to expand its charging infrastructure if needed.
