Located in Mountain Home, Idaho, Desert Sage Health Center offers its surrounding community a new local 31,000 sq. ft. clinic for medical, dental, and pharmaceutical needs. This facility is one of the first in the nation to incorporate permanent drive-up car clinic bays, offering patients convenient medical consultations, all from the comfort of their vehicles. Under the project leadership of Andersen Construction, Hunt Electric was contracted to provide the primary electrical, fire alarm, and technology scopes of work.
Leveraging our Virtual Design & Construction in-house department, our team created detailed as-built drawings for each clinic room, eliminating potential guesswork during installation. Additionally, our in-house Prefabrication Department prefabricated electrical kits for each clinic room, which significantly streamlined onsite installation and ensured our work met the required high-quality installation standards.
By closely collaborating with Andersen Construction early in the construction process and by utilizing our VDC and prefabrication solutions, our teams were able to resolve issues in advance or quickly address them onsite. To meet the owner’s high standards and requirements for installations that dovetail seamlessly with medical-grade equipment and other support infrastructure, we carefully checked the elevations and layouts of procedure rooms.
We take immense pride in our contribution to the building of this cutting-edge medical facility, providing the Mountain Home community with sophisticated healthcare amenities. Notably, this project was the first of our Boise Office to begin in Idaho, and we are proud to celebrate its successful completion with Andersen Construction, Hummel Architects and Paradigm of Idaho.
