Flexgen Panguitch Battery Storage Facility

Panguitch, UT

This project consists of two 40-foot containers, each enclosed with 500kW bi-directional power electronics. Each container includes 2.5MWh DC-rated (342 lithium-ion batteries) energy storage bi-directional rate capability, integrated FM200 fire suppression system, HVAC and FlexGen HybridOS Energy Management System. Hunt Electric's scope encompassed receipt, installation and termination of 684 battery units that weigh 120 pounds each in a condensed 3-day window. This is the first utility scale battery storage facility in the state of Utah.
