The Hunt Electric Industrial, Automation and Controls Division installed a state-of-the-art, low emission, Gencor Asphalt Plant on highway 201 near Magna, UT. Located right off the frontage road, this new facility stands out for miles. This job was a fast-paced project that involved custom cable tray installation throughout the plant for miles of power, control, and communications cable. There were dozens of motor terminations, hundreds of control terminations, truck scales, truck signals, remote ethernet ticket printing, video monitoring, fiber communications, and a complete LED plant lighting system. Morgan and Gencor left most of the methods of wiring and installation in the hands of Hunt Electric. The plant was commissioned by Gencor, Morgan, and Hunt Electric.
