Hunt Electric is proud to have
been selected by Western States Lodging, Rimrock Construction, and Beecher
Walker Architects as the electrical design-build contractor to play a key role
in designing and building Legacy Village of St. George. This four-story, 256-room,
290,000 sq. ft. facility was designed with the residents in mind – from
architectural elements to furniture and lighting, the goal was to make the
space inviting and comfortable, where its residents would feel at home.
Amenities geared toward a
younger clientele were also included such as a swimming pool and hot tub, a pickleball
court, a sports bar and café; four courtyards, and a large sitting area that
offers stunning views to the residents and their visitors.
Hunt Electric worked closely with the entire team from day one to incorporate their vision into our electrical design. Our ability to collaborate and communicate was critical to the project’s success.
During the construction phase, to keep
the project on schedule, Hunt’s prefabrication team produced lighting and
outlet kits for each of the building’s 256 rooms and manufactured 11
distribution panels. This reduced installation times and cut project costs despite the delays and difficulties
caused by the pandemic.
Close collaboration in the
design phase, and daily and weekly walkthroughs with the architect during
construction helped us to execute the team’s vision of
making Legacy Village feel like a high-end resort hotel.
