Hunt Electric was a design-build partner for Merit Medical’s new production building. The new building includes upper and lower offices, a cleanroom, and a warehouse. Our project manager and design team collaborated closely with the architect and the owners to ensure that the design fits within the budget.
The challenges of this project included numerous changes during the design phase. Hunt’s flexible approach and our close communication and collaboration with the general contractor, Jacobsen Construction, and the architect enabled us to accommodate these design changes and complete the project on schedule. This close collaborative approach also helped us successfully install the lighting and power the machinery in the facility’s multiple cleanrooms. The Hunt Electric Technology division completed the complete installation for all fiber optic cabling for Merit Medical’s warehouse and office space.
Hunt’s ability to quickly implement sudden design changes gave Merit Medical the flexibility to modify their original plan and allowed them to create a production process that was ideally suited to their needs.
