The client and Walbridge Construction in collaboration with Zwick Construction selected Hunt Electric as the design-build partner for the project. We coordinated closely with all the team members to ensure an efficient electrical design that meet the project’s needs. The scope included installing two 4,000-amp services to support all their mechanical operations. The scope also included installing lighting and setting the stage for HVAC and the fire alarm system. We also installed the infrastructure for security and data lines in the electrical rooms, compressor rooms, equipment yards. Our High Voltage division participated in this project by installing and terminating all of the high-voltage cabling. We also supported the installation and commissioning of several new transformers and sectionalizers. 

This project had an accelerated schedule for both design and construction. Clear communication, thorough planning, and quick and effective execution helped us meet the demands of the schedule. Ongoing changes to the design brought challenges to the project, but Hunt’s flexibility allowed us to incorporate frequent changes without impacting the schedule. The client acknowledged our adaptable approach as a key factor in completing the project on time.
