Hunt Electric was selected as the electrical contractor on The Green on Campus Drive, a new state-of-the-art community located in Orem, Utah and geared for students.
The Green on Campus Dive consists of five-buildings and contains 450 units to house more than 1,600 students. It also includes a six-story parking garage with 1,287 parking stalls. This student housing campus elevates the standard of living for modern-day college students. It has more than 9,100 square feet of amenities such as luxury pool and three spas, outdoor ping pong, sand volleyball, an outdoor terrace and patios, a fully equipped fitness center, a multi-purpose game room, a movie/gaming theater, a reservable clubhouse, a conference room, a computer lab and much more.
We had the opportunity to involve in this project four of our eight divisions: Electrical, Infrastructure and Traffic, Technology, and High Voltage. Team members all worked together to deliver this project within the demanding schedule driven by school starting up.
Hunt Electric worked closely with the design team to deliver each building within scheduled time frames. Hunt’s preconstruction and prefabrication departments were instrumental in reducing the construction time. This enabled the owners, PEG Companies and Woodbury Corporation, to lease out each building as it was completed.
