Home to over 600 employees, Hunt Electric acquired a third building to accommodate their expanding company. Hunt Electric worked closely with our structural engineers and design team to bring the vision of this renovation to life and create an enhanced work environment. Innovation, customized workspaces, open floor plans, PoE lighting, technologically advanced AV/VR systems and the commitment to perform on 100% sustainable energy are some of the elements that comprise Hunt's new home.
They designed and installed a state-of-the art microgrid system, which includes a 130.4kW DC ballasted PV rooftop solar array, a 800A-480/227V electric service control center with the ability to island from utilities and operate with seamless transitions between distributed energy resources, a 150kW NG Genset with interconnection and integration to the microgrid, and a 125kW/112Wh lithium-Ion battery for energy storage. This six-month project helped Hunt Electric's growing campus reduce its carbon footprint and give back to the environment.
