We had another successful Foreman outing this year with a competitive Fishing Derby at Rockport State Park. These outings with our team members are an important part of our culture and a priority at Hunt Electric.
Ultimately, I feel we have a “work to live” type of mentality here. It’s an on-going focus of ours that we don’t want to lose sight of - which in the fast-paced environment we operate within - would be easy to do.
Our team gives 110% effort, 100% of the time and it’s important to step back from the daily whirlwind from time to time and just hang out. The relationships that are forged here can be lifelong. It’s these brief pauses that help foster that growth.
These events helps foster relationships into an almost extended family-like environment. Many of our team members feel that we have an awesome “family” like culture for a large organization.
I spend the vast majority of my day with these fine men and women, and I cherish any opportunity we have to step back from the whirlwind and spend time together. Over the years, my colleagues have evolved into an almost extended family for me.
At the end of the day, it’s the men and women that work here that are our most valuable asset, cliché as it may be, it is true. I think that is one variable that truly sets us apart from our competitors – our culture is tough to beat.
