Kodiak
Cakes started in 1982 with an original family recipe for pancakes and has since
grown into the 4th largest pancake mix company in the United States. Hunt
Electric installed all the structured cabling and AV systems for their office
in Park City, Utah. The AV System at Kodiak Cakes is made up of several
different type of room systems. These rooms function as stand-alone
systems but are connected through one overall Creston system. The board
room, conference room, offices, retail area and break room have variations of
hardware consisting of ceiling speakers, ceiling microphones, displays ranging
from 65” to 133”, tabletop HDMI connections and Crestron touchscreens.
Controlled by the Crestron touchscreen, these rooms have the capability to
display content via the table-top HDMI connections with sound reinforcement
from the in-ceiling speakers. With the addition of the ceiling
microphones and PTZ camera, the rooms have full seamless Video Conferencing
capability through the Crestron Zoom codec. A Crestron scheduling panel
at the room entrances also provides scheduling capability. The retail space
includes installation of a Bright Sign digital signage player to provide easily
managed marketing content onto the display.
