SoJo Station is a transit-oriented development, offering Class A Office space. SoJo South is the second building in a 3-building development. Hunt Electric provided electrical design-build services for the core & shell and parking structure. Our team installed Access control to the gate, retrofitted lights for the UTA station, and rerouted Rocky Mountain Powers distribution. The core & shell were a collaborative effort between Beecher Walker Architecture, Jacobsen Construction and Stack Real Estate.
Ivanti selected the entire building as their new home in Utah. Hunt Electric was selected as the technology contractor, direct to owner, for the design and installation of the structured cabling scope of the project. This scope was a collaborative effort between Ivanti, Method Studio, Stack Real Estate Construction group and our electrical team. The Hunt team delivered turn-key solutions, seamless team coordination and on-time delivery.
Our electrical scope consisted of design and installation of power, lighting, lighting controls, daylight harvesting and fire alarms. The Technology scope included design and installation of the CommScope Category 6A Structured cabling with 400,000 feet of network cable, with an additional 35,000 feet for security and AV systems. The team collaborated to design pathways, backbone cabling, workstation cabling along with communication room layouts to fit their needs.
