Sweet Candy Company distributes more than 250 quality candy items nationally and internationally - in bulk, bags, and boxes. Hunt Electric was contracted to provide new construction services for an 86,600 sq. ft. building expansion at their processing facility. This expansion included warehouse and office space, mechanical and electrical rooms, boiler and chiller rooms, and production rooms. Building systems included power, fire alarm, security, data communications, and building process control systems. Interior work consisted of production mezzanines with clean room installation methods. Additionally, the Hunt Electric team rigged, placed, and set all equipment and completed installation of electrical panels and MCC's. Hunt Electric installed cable trays, miscellaneous interconnect wiring between distribution equipment and process equipment for raw materials, syrup room, kitchen, starch conditioner, track and depositor production lines. Start-up support was also provided.
