95 State at City Creek

This towering 25-story 395-foot-tall office building is changing the skyline of Salt Lake City as the third highest building in Utah. It brings our market 515,000 square feet of rentable office space, including world-class amenities and services, designed to reinvent the 9-to-5 work experience. Hunt’s Electrical, Technology, and Infrastructure divisions collaborated to make this one-of-a-kind addition to Salt Lake City’s skyline a success.

Our Technology and Infrastructure divisions began the project by working together to relocate the fiber optic telecommunications in the downtown area. Our teams closely coordinated with each affected business to identify endpoints of the fiber optic cables then they installed a new underground conduit.

Pandemic-related delays caused the bus duct, which delivers power throughout the building, to arrive several months late. The Electrical division used temporary power sources to prevent work delays. Despite equipment delays, our team met the demanding schedule by adding a supplemental workforce of Hunt employees who worked on Saturdays.

The Hunt Technology AV team designed and installed a 65-foot long, 11-foot-tall video wall which makes a 90-degree curve around a corner. The video wall serves as moving art and acts as the focal point of the stunning lobby. To meet the final deadline, the team worked additional hours to complete the video wall installation in only nine days instead of the proposed three weeks. This included programming the video wall for its public debut.
