Hunt Electric brought its many years of traffic and infrastructure experience to complete 21 new, state-of-the-art traffic intersections and installed over 1,300 lights including sign, high-mast, under-bridge and roadway lights. Enough wire was installed to stretch from Salt Lake City to St. George - the equivalent of 285 miles! Hunt Electric accumulated nearly 150,000 man hours without a single lost-time accident.

This accelerated project expanded 24 miles of freeway between Lehi and Spanish Fork, adding two lanes in each direction. Hunt’s role was to construct all of the highway lighting and traffic signals that are affected
by the reconstruction of 10 interchanges and 55 bridges. This included nearly 20 traffic signals and over 100 high-mast luminaries.

Hunt Electric was proud to be a significant part of this $1.7 billion project, contributing to the complex team of contractors and its many years of traffic and infrastructure experience.
